Trump and Xi Jingping summit: How are the United States and China redefining their relationship?

As tensions over trade, Taiwan, technology, and global influence intensify, the meeting between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping may determine the future balance of power between Washington and Beijing. By Dr. Pshtiwan Faraj | Sulaimani, Iraq | 13 May 2026 — Kurdish Policy Analysis "We don't have permanent allies and we don't have permanent enemies, only our interests are permanent, and we have to follow them." – Henry John Temple. The root of the current Strait of Hormuz tensions is not only about shipping routes or oil prices, but also about the final collapse of the historical US concept towards Beijing. However, the 2025 National Security Strategy, released by the White House in November, says this was a historic mistake because China used the assets it accumulated to strengthen itself and compete with the West, not to become their partner. For many years, the United States alone maintained maritime security; The fifth US ship in Manama, Bahrain, worked only to keep o...

U.S. Crackdown: Marco Rubio Revokes 4,000 Visas Tied to Iranian Regime Elites

Donald Trump administration intensifies purge of Tehran-linked figures as arrests and deportations send shockwaves through elite networks

Kurdish Policy Analysis

The Trump administration is taking no prisoners when it comes to America's enemies. Secretary of State Marco Rubio is moving aggressively to revoke around 4,000 visas held by Iranian elites tied to the terror-sponsoring regime in Tehran.

Katie Miller spelled it out clearly on Fox News: the United States will not let regime supporters and their families live the good life here while they cheer attacks on American interests and back the mullahs' anti-US agenda.
This is common sense national security in action. Why should Iranian officials and their relatives enjoy American freedoms, luxury lifestyles in places like Los Angeles, and taxpayer-funded benefits while their regime funds terrorism, builds nukes, and plots against us?
Rubio has already delivered results. Just days ago, ICE agents arrested Hamideh Soleimani Afshar — niece of slain IRGC terror chief Qassem Soleimani — and her daughter in LA after Rubio yanked their green cards. The State Department noted Afshar had been pushing regime propaganda, celebrating strikes on US forces, and bashing America as the "Great Satan" all while living large stateside.
Rubio also terminated the visas of Fatemeh Ardeshir-Larijani, daughter of a top slain Iranian official, and her husband. They are out or headed that way.
Rubio put it straight: "The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes."
No more playing host to the enemy within. These moves come as the US and Israel have struck hard against Iran's nuclear and military targets, exposing the regime's weakness and cracking down on its global enablers.
America First means protecting our soil from those who hate us. Rubio and the Trump team are finally enforcing it — no safe haven for regime loyalists who bite the hand that housed them. Deportations underway. More to come. Good riddance.
