Iran Declares US F-35 Down: Public Reward Offered for Capturing Pilot

Tensions Skyrocket as Tehran Calls on Civilians to Capture or Neutralize American Fighter Pilot After Second Jet Allegedly Shot Down

Kurdish Policy Analysis- Iran claims US Blawk Hawk is down and they are giving a price for anyone capturing the pilot.

A second US fifth-generation F-35 fighter jet was struck and downed over central Iran, said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)

After Iran claimed to have downed a second US F-35 fighter jet — some reports mentioned an F-15E too — there continues widespread speculation about the fate of the pilot on Friday. Iran's state-run and semi-official news outlets have cited officials to say the pilot was unlikely to have survived, while some reports said he may have been captured.

The US has not reacted yet.

A local channel of Iranian state television claimed on Friday that a US fighter pilot ejected from their aircraft over southwestern Iran, news agency AP noted. The anchor read the following announcement: “If you capture the enemy pilot or pilots alive and hand them over to the police, you will receive a precious prize.”

An on-screen crawl separately urged the public to “shoot them if you see them", referring to social media footage circulating of what appeared to be US aircraft conducting a search in the area. The channel provided no other immediate details.

Iran’s state-run Mehr News Agency calls on Iranian civilians to help capture the pilot and weapons officer of an American F-15E Strike Eagle that was allegedly shot down this morning over Southern Iran.

A reward will be given to the person who captures the American pilot alive, Iranian state television announced, APA reports. According to the statement, the police department of the Kohgiluyeh region has promised a reward to those who assist in capturing the pilot or pilots of a US fighter jet shot down in Iranian airspace.

The world is now awaiting to sea the reaction and how Trump will respond to this dangerous escalation.
