The Iraqi oil trap and its paradox: A rentier economy amidst geopolitical shocks
The Nelson Mandela high school in the city of Nantes, France, was built as a modern and innovative building at the enormous cost of 75 million euros. Five architectural consulting firms designed the plans for this unique wooden building, which included indoor sections, a sports hall, a climbing wall for ascending, and various advanced laboratories. But apparently all this luxury and blessing was not enough; and this week, in the riots in France that were supposedly for “improving the state of education,” it was set on fire!In this wave of unrest, a quarter of France’s high schools suffered damage. So far, hundreds of police officers and firefighters have been injured, thousands of people have been arrested, and countless destruction has been created across France.
France has a long history with riots, but it seems that this time it is not merely “another normal phase.” According to a leaked police intelligence report, these riots are systematic preparation and training for the overthrow of public order, supervised by Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the leader of the French Communist and leftist party, who is anti-NATO, anti-Jewish, and anti-Europe — the “France Unbowed” party.
Mélenchon has taken advantage of the growth of marginalized and lawless areas around France’s major cities; those neighborhoods where several generations of North African immigrants live, most of whom are Arab-Berber, and where for decades the police have not dared to enter.
Mélenchon has very cleverly linked the anti-French discontent and feelings present there to France’s old Communist desires, in such a way that each side exploits the strength and capacity of the other to achieve its own goals. Today the Arabs are a massive human force and like a ready army, while the Communists control the trade unions and a strong organizational network. In this way, a complex, organized, and skilled tool for creating chaos on command has come into existence.
The helplessness and failure of Macron and the presidents before him in stopping the wave of immigration forced them to buy temporary and fragile social peace with money and the distribution of financial aid (campaigns and salaries); an equation that only worked on the basis of economic growth. But when, once again due to the decline in the birth rate and the shortage of the young generation, economic growth stopped, the money ran out and the budget deficit exploded.
In France, the participation of immigrants in the economy is much lower than that of the native population, while their economic and social burden is very heavy. From here, the failed political center is heading toward complete disappearance and, in the elections of the next six months, will clear the field for the radical forces of the right and the left.
The victory of the right-wingers would mean the full activation of Mélenchon’s Marxist-left chaos machine, which would similarly be followed by a strong reaction from the right-wingers and would drag the country toward dangerous instability, severe economic crisis, and even civil war.
In contrast, Mélenchon’s victory, through the implementation of his imaginary Communist proposals and promises, massive tax increases, and the unproductive expansion of welfare aid, would completely destroy the country’s economy. This is the dark future that awaits France.
The magic that Mélenchon quickly seized and used to design this tool especially began after the events of October 7; when Europe’s Arabs started mobilizing against the supposed genocide in Gaza. Because of the Palestine issue, it was very easy to inflame the masses for demonstrations against America and Israel and to bring leftists and Arabs onto the streets of Europe. From here, Mélenchon, the leftist leader, seized hundreds of anti-American and anti-Israeli demonstrations to create a precise chaos machine that is now being trained on a large scale for the seizure and destruction of France.
After all, someone tell me: what do the French students’ demonstrations for improving their living conditions have to do with the Palestinian flag? Someone else from the left, tell me: are the French leftists, under Mélenchon’s leadership, demonstrating for the creation of a Fifth Republic or for the creation of Palestine? All these Palestinian flags at the Bastille, the capital of the revolutionaries — have they blinded us? Really, no one knows what the French want. Not them — what is strange today is that across the demonstrations in Europe, and especially the raising of the Palestinian flag, it has become their symbol!
Therefore, what is very clearly evident, and what awaits France and Europe in general, is an uncertain future under the shadow of the new left, the Arabs, the low birth rate, and the decline in population numbers. If the complete dissolution of that union is underway, greater than all of it is that Palestinian flag and bomb they are carrying, which will very soon explode in the hands of those European countries.
